Cornerstone works to prevent domestic abuse by educating, advocating and leading the way to social change. Through their PAVE program, in 17 schools in their service area, students in elementary school, junior high and high school are educated on age-related issues including self-esteem and healthy communication, abuse, healthy relationships, anger management, communication skills, bullying and harassment.

 

Jamesine Leigh, RYT 500

Jamesine has been a yoga teacher for more than twelve years. Her teaching experience includes group and private instruction, and workshops with all ages in a variety of settings; including at Flagship Athletic Club, Spirit of the Lake Yoga, Eden Prairie Lifetime Athletic Club, both Bloomington and Chaska School Districts, and Richardson Nature Center. While at Flagship, she developed and taught a class for pre-teen girls that focused on creating positive mind/body experiences and healthy self-esteem. She continues to teach, work, research and write in the fields of holistic health, stress management, yoga, meditation and other practices that support well-being on all levels. She has done extensive research and is writing about anxiety issues/disorders.
